National Harbor Proposal | K + G Engagement

One of my all-time favorite sessions is K + G's proposal/engagement session at the National Harbor. Their love is a sweet, gentle and silly kind of love!

I remember getting a message from G about his plans to propose, and feeling extremely excited, and then instantly nervous - out of all of the proposals to date, this one was the most meaningful to me personally. You see, K has been close friends with my now fiancé since high school, and has welcomed me with a sweet smile and open arms since the day I met her (fun fact: she met both me and her now husband, G on the same day!)

I remember constantly checking in and messaging with G: "We just parked, walking over!" ..."Okay, I'm here, ready, looking out for you both." I can vividly remember hiding behind a bush, camera ready, holding my breath in anticipation.

Finally, I spotted them both walking along, G with a huge grin on his face, and K unsuspecting of what was to come. Enjoy some photos of their lovely proposal at National Harbor.

After the "YES!" we walked around National Harbor, taking some fun photos and even 're-creating' the moment for a small group of people who cheered on as K said 'yes'...again ;)
