George Mason University Senior Session: Lauren | Fairfax, VA

When I tell you, the world is not ready for Lauren y'all - You best believe it! This girl has got passion, knowledge, strength, kindness, and the biggest heart you'll ever know!

I met Lauren while we were both completing our internship, and got to know her over the course of several months. I am so grateful to have met her, learned from her, been able to survive our internship together, and most of all, have gained a friend.

Lauren is celebrating her achievement later this month, and walking away with a hard-earned B.S.W. from George Mason University Originally from out of state, Lauren plans to stay in the DMV (who can blame her, it's pretty great here 😉) and serve and uplift local communities & individuals.

Lauren is passionate about people, serving in ministry, and she's got both talent and interest in horticulture, and hopes to eventually merge these passions to become a horticultural therapist - so cool, right?!!

Also, can we admire her skateboarding skills - wearing her grad gown, dress AND sandals, no less?!

If there is one thing I've learned from Lauren is to always focus on the positive side of things, and to always, always see the best in people.

I am so so happy for her, for reaching this accomplishment that is sure to pave the way for many, many others, and mostly, to have her in the social work field. I know whoever has the chance to know her and work with her will feel grateful and privileged to have her alongside them. 🎓
