What is it like working with you?
While my biggest priority is to creatively document you and your loved ones in the here and now, it is equally important (if not most important) to make sure you are comfortable during your photo session, (and with me as your photographer!) and that you have FUN! Why? In my experience, the families and couples who are most comfortable with me leading up to and during their session are in turn more comfortable with one another during their session - and this definitely shines through the lens and into the final product... your photos!
How would you describe your style?
Colorful, natural, simple, authentic. I care more about your photos representing you rather than a trend, or another Pinterest pin. We will laugh (a lot), we will cry (happy, love tears), and we will hopefully walk away friends! I believe a photography session shouldn't be stressful, all I ask is to be yourself, and I will do my job ;)

What's included in our session fee?
I believe in keeping things simple. Your session fee includes the session time (sessions begin at 1 hour), a private online gallery with a selection of your beautiful, edited images in high-resolution. You can download your beautiful high-resolution images to hold onto forever and use them as you please.
How many photos do we get?
While each photo session is different, you can expect a minimum of 20 images delivered in your private photo gallery. Additional images are available for purchase.
Are all of our photos edited?
Yes, of course! Your photos will all be edited to match the Cxico's Photography style in terms of color, exposure, and composition.
How do we receive our photos?
You'll receive your edited, high resolution photos via a private online gallery. Through this gallery, you can feel free to download your photos as well as share them with friends and family, wherever they may be!
How do we book our session?
Once we've discussed the vision for your photo session, I require a 30% non-refundable retainer to hold your session date and time. This retainer goes toward your session fee, which is due on the date of your session.
Where can we have our photos taken?
I mostly shoot outdoors around sunrise/sunset. We will work together to agree on a place that best suits your interests or personality, or, what I always recommend: a place that is meaningful to you and your loved ones! I have a few suggestions around the Northern Virginia area, but have also worked sessions in Washington, D.C. and Maryland - I am always up for exploring and discovering new places, and am open to travel as well!
It's our first photo session, we are a bit camera shy... help?
Absolutely! While I live for capturing candid moments, I will provide as little or as much guidance as you need. We will adjust as needed, to make sure you still feel comfortable and stay true to yourself during your session.
When do we get our photos?
Finalized photo galleries are usually ready 3-4 weeks after your session date. I suggest clients keep this in mind when scheduling their session, and book sooner rather than later (especially during the warmer, sunnier months when photo sessions are most popular).
Do you offer any prints?
Yes! While you have the freedom to print your photos wherever and whenever you wish, I do offer professional prints, albums, and wall art of all sizes available to purchase a - la - carte.
